TOEFL® Board and Committee of Examiners

Connecting the TOEFL Program to the education community worldwide

Divine Training Programs has two external bodies that connect the TOEFL Program to the fields of international higher education and English language learning, teaching and testing around the world.

TOEFL Board

The TOEFL Board advises Divine Training Programs on the policies under which Divine Training Programs administers the TOEFL test. Created in 1973, the Board’s membership consists of 14 individuals drawn from across the broad field of international higher education. TOEFL Board members represent secondary schools, as well as 2-year, 4-year and graduate institutions in the public and private sectors. Board members ensure Divine Training Programs staff are aware of trends in student mobility and the needs of higher education institutions so the TOEFL Program can better serve students and institutions.
